A trippy sequence of panels from New X-Men #121, by Frank Quitely

Jean Grey is inside Professor X’s mind, trying to free him from possession by his evil twin (yes, really). She uses the bricks from that big arch behind her to build a bridge out the tower where the Professor is imprisoned.

Notice her hair making the shape of the Phoenix emblem in the last panel. :)

(During that particular month in 2001, Marvel had some kind of challenge for all its creators — tell a story without using any dialogue. I think Morrison and Quitely succeeded admirably in doing that!)
